From photo to dimensioned sketch, on your phone.

Take the photo, let the app trace the lines and add your tape-measure readings with a finger. You get a clean sketch, ready for the report — as PDF, PNG or DXF.

  • Runs in your phone's browser
  • No stylus: everything by finger
  • Photos stay on your device

The problem

The measurement exists. The sketch gets lost.

Measuring on site is quick. What slows you down is turning a scribbled photo into a drawing someone else can read.

  • Scribbled photos

Numbers written with a finger over the image, unreadable once the report is printed.

  • Lost measurements

The dimension sits in a chat, the photo in another folder, and nobody knows which span was which.

  • CAD rework

Back at the office, redrawing from scratch what was already measured on site.

How it works

Four steps, still on site.

  1. Photo

Take the photo in the app or pick one from your gallery. Optionally fix the perspective by marking a known rectangle.

  2. Automatic lines

The app reads the light and contrast of the photo, tunes the sensitivity and turns beams, columns and plates into editable lines.

  3. Dimensions

Tap a line and type the tape-measure value. Use one known measurement as the scale and the next ones are calculated.

  4. PDF or DXF

Export an A4 PDF for the report, a PNG for messaging or a scaled DXF to continue in CAD.

Privacy

Your photos never go to the internet.

They stay only on your phone. Our server stores just your e-mail, your plan and how many sketches you have created — nothing else.

Features

The CAD essentials, thumb-sized.

Tools designed for fingers: precision magnifier, automatic snapping to endpoints and intersections, unlimited undo.

Smart automatic lines

Automatic tuning from the photo's lighting and a texture filter (corrugated sheets, grids, slats). For small parts, detect only the zoomed area.

Dimensions and scale

Aligned and diameter dimensions, scale set from one known measurement. Units in mm, cm or m.

Perspective correction

Mark four corners of a real rectangle and the photo is squared up — with the scale already set.

Basic CAD by touch

Move, copy, rotate, offset, trim, extend and join corners. Type exact values when you need precision.

From bolts to frames

Line, rectangle and circle for bolts, plates, beams, columns and tie rods — everything in the photo.

Callouts and text

Arrow with a note: “bolt Ø12”, “6 mm plate”, “through crack”.

Hand-drawn style

One tap gives your drawing a sketchbook stroke with architect lettering.

Pencil, ink or pastel background

Turn the photo into a drawn background; the original is kept.

PDF, PNG and DXF

A4 PDF to attach, PNG to share, real-scale DXF for CAD.

Works offline (PRO)

After the first visit the app opens and works without internet — basements, roofs, rural sites.

Photos stay on your device

Sketches and photos are never uploaded. Your account only stores your e-mail and subscription.

Made for fingers

Precision magnifier, snapping to endpoints and intersections, two-finger zoom. No stylus.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Croqui PRO opens in your phone's browser (Android or iPhone). If you like, use “Add to Home Screen” to open it like a regular app.

Does it work offline?

Yes, with PRO: after the first visit the app opens and works offline. The internet is only used to sign in and manage your subscription.

Are my photos sent to a server?

No. Your photos are never sent to the internet — they stay only on your device. The server stores only your e-mail, your plan and how many sketches you have created.

Does the automatic measurement replace the tape measure?

No. Dimensions start from the values you enter. With a known measurement as the scale (or with corrected perspective), the app calculates the others in the same plane as the photo — always double-check critical measurements on site.

Can I open it in AutoCAD?

Yes. The DXF contains lines, dimensions and text on separate layers, in the unit of the defined scale (mm, cm or m).

How do I cancel?

From My account, at any time. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card details.

How do I install it as an app?

On Android, tap “Install app” inside the app (Chrome). On iPhone, open it in Safari → Share → “Add to Home Screen”. It opens full screen with its own icon. Google Play and App Store versions are coming soon.

What if I change phones?

Make a backup inside the app: it creates a .croqui file with the photo, lines and dimensions. Save it to Google Drive, WhatsApp or e-mail, and restore it on the other phone.

Start with your next sketch.

Open it in your phone's browser, take the photo and dimension it. Nothing to install — and you can add it to your home screen.
